Tekla is an imported 15.3-hand 14 year-old studbook mare out of Erik 351 (dam’s sire Meier).  At first glance, you’re impressed by her size and beauty.  She’ll win you over with her calm nature and ease of handling.  Tekla’s build is baroque style with lots of hair and feathers.  She’s our role model for all of our horses.  She’s well behaved, well mannered and has no bad habits.  Tekla has all these wonderful qualities and she passes them down to her offspring.  Tekla’s a perfect mother!  She passes on all her traits and behaviors in a firm and loving manner.  Tekla’s the ideal family horse, and we all enjoy riding and grooming her!

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved beauty, Tekla on Sept. 29, 2013.  She had a rupture in her system, and couldn't be saved.  Goodbye Tekie....we loved you so much!!
